Fridays 6-7:30pm beginning June 20, 2008
Accompanied by live percussion, this class begins with a movement meditation that blends many Eastern and Contemporary Western practices, designed to ground, align and heighten our body-mind-spirit awareness. The tempo gradually increases as we move into more African-based movements, which we utilize to break up stagnation, move energy through us and sweat. While some combinations will be technically challenging, other movements will simply provide the medium for dancing our hearts out and having fun. Drop-in's welcome. First class only $5.
