Ashtanga Yoga
A series of postures sewn together with breath and movement transitions. YogaMoves offers the first of six series.
Beginning Yoga
Introduces simple postures for the novice. Focuses on breath and the language of Yoga.
Children's Creative Movement
For children 3-11 years of age. Skills include somersault, sartwheels and improvisational movement. Part of the "Circus After School" program. Lots of fun! You must pre-register for this class.
Children's Juggling and Balancing
Juggling and balancing juggling balls, sticks, etc. Balancing with partners and on bongo board. Part of "Circus After School" program. You must pre-register for this class.
Clown Patrol/Teen Comedy Theatre
This is an acting class with an emphasis on physical comedy and learning "clown". The techniques we teach are basic theatre skills, theatre games, and learning comedic timing and how to use it in scene work. Students perform their own work at the end of the program.
Contact Improv
Contact improvisation is a dance technique using touch. Students learn to safely exchange weight, balance and rythym. Contact improvisation guides participants into a sublime state of trust and surrender, attuning us to natural impulses and intuitive movement. Exploring baseline mechanics for effortless, fluid dancing, with dynamic weight sharing and exchanges, safety and joy in the dance.
Continuum
Continuum is a movement based meditation practice based on Emily Conrad's Continuum Movement. Utilizes slow fluid movement, sound, and deep internal concentration. Sessions are open to all.
Creative Dance for Adults
This class is for anyone who likes to move and would like to find new ways of expression through dance. NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. The class will consist of creative movement improvisation for individual and group dance experiences. Come explore your kinesthetic sense and the beauty of pure organic movement from the inside out. Discover the joy of creating your own unique artistic expression using the body as your instrument. The art of movement will be explored through many themes such as force, space and shape, time and rhythm, sound, etc. We will create a container for a supportive and safe environment where the atmosphere for true freedom of expression is honored and nurtured. Jean Tobias Boone received her training at the Tucson Creative Dance Center with Barbara Mettler and has been a Santa Fe resident for 17 years. Inversion Swing

Explores yoga postures from an inverted swing that is safe for all levels. It especially assists back and neck ailments and it's wonderful for cyclists and runners. Some claim the inverted poses will keep you forever young! Inversion Swing classes are limited to 4 people and pre-registration is required.

Kundalini Yoga
This system of yoga makes conscious use of energy channels such as the breath and chakras in the process of awakening the Kundalini. Kundalini is the energy of the non-physical, divine, and infinite experienced within the physical and infinite. Classes are designed to assist participants in developing an intimate and creative relationship with their breath and energy.
Moderate Yoga
For the advanced beginner with less explanation and more postures.
Modern Dance for those that have had very limited or no dance training. Taught by Colleen Mulvihill and Eliza Kuelthan. The class incorporates movement from various disciplines, including Modern Dance, Pilates and Yoga. Class begins September 10th and runs for tens weeks ending November 16th. Fridays from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm. You must pre-register for this class.
Class objectives:
introduce a modern dance vocabulary: floor work, standing work and across the floor combinations
develop an active appreciation of moving to music supported by breath and rhythm
develop a basic understanding of anatomy and bring into use sound body alignment and energetic body connectivity
increase awareness of principles of mobility/stability, flexibility/strength, function/expression
And finally to experience the joy and freedom of using ones body as instrument of expression
